Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken on excavations for a new water main. A suspected Bronze Age dyke was on the route of the excavations; however, no conclusive evidence for the existence of a Bronze Age ditch and bank was recovered. A linear feature observed was likely to be natural, a result of local drainage. Evidence was also found for dumping associated with an industrial process of indeterminable date. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
