Abstract:		 This report is a synthesis of a desk based assessment and evaluation excavations undertaken previously on the site and assesses the potential impacts upon any underlying archaeology. The potential archaeology comprises deposits that may be associated with the town defences and demolition layers of the town walls. Further archaeological deposits, layers or structures may be present in the undisturbed north bank of Blubberhouse Creek. A modified strip, map and sample methodology has been recommended.
