Abstract:		 Before the construction of 600 parking spaces an evaluation of 17 trenches and subsequent watching brief identified late Bronze Age/ early Iron Age pits, post/stake-holes and ditches concentrated to the northern part of the site. The southern half yielded very little due to heavy modern disturbance from a mid-late 20th century brickworks and farm complex. Prehistoric evidence was expected due to the closeness of Springfield Lyons to the north of the site.
