Abstract:		 AB Heritage was commissioned to produce an Archaeological Desk Based Assessment (DBA) for the proposed construction of residential properties on Carlyon Bay in Cornwall. This DBA also will provide a baseline information for the Cultural Heritage Environmental Statement Chapter, which had been requested by the Cornwall Council. The site was considered to have low potential for complex archaeological material within proposed development, but archaeological remains which might be found would only date from the 19th century onwards.
