Abstract: |
The earliest elements appear to be formed from clay dabbins wall producing a long-house derivative that could date from the 17th century or earlier. An outshut was introduced that increased the living area and produced a cross-passage house that was probably no later than 1820. By the mid 19th century an internal staircase was introduced. |
