Abstract: |
Archaeological desk based assessment undertaken to be submitted as part of a proposed planning application for a residential development on the site of a former timber yard. The assessment revealed that the site is located in close proxmity to an area of land whcih forms part of the Scheduled Monument of Kings Meaburn medieval village. The possibility that archaeologicl remains relating to the medieval period would survive has been highlighted. |
