Abstract:		 This report was completed to accompany a full planning application for a residential development at Newton Close, Barrow on Soar. The sources consulted included a data search of Leicestershire and Rutland Historic Environment Record as well as an examination of historic ordnance survey maps and further documentary searches. There were no recorded heritage sites identified within the proposed development site. The site had been previously developed for housing and therefore some disturbance of the site had occurred. There was considered very low potential for previously unrecorded archaeological remains due to previous disturbance, therefore, no further archaeological works were recommended.
