Abstract: |
An impact assessment was carried out to identify and assess the potential impacts of a proposed 34m to tip turbine at Lower Longcombe, South Hams, upon heritage assets. The assessment considered the potential impacts of construction on the physical fabric of assets and upon the setting of designated assets. No construction impacts upon previously recorded heritage assets were identified. It has been concluded that there is some potential for previously unrecorded archaeological assets to be present in the general area. However, the area covered by the construction footprint is relatively small and it is concluded that the potential for such features to be affected by the development is negligible. Therefore no further work was proposed. |
