Abstract:		 There had been some development on the site by 1806, including a one room Sunday school at the eastern end of the proposed development area. The Sunday school was demolished and rebuilt in the 1870s as a parochial school on a much larger scale. The former school had been converted into a works, but retained much of its historic external features and was a building of significant historic character. [Au(abr)]
