Abstract:		 A magnetometer survey was commissioned by Pinhoe Quarry LLP and carried out over 1.2ha immediately to the north of Pinhoe Quarry, Exeter, ahead of a proposed redevelopment of the site to include residential dwellings and associated infrastructure. The detailed magnetometer survey was conducted within two separate fields and located a number of positive and negative anomalies that relate to features with enhanced and suppressed magnetic susceptibility respectively. It has not been possible to confidently determine whether anomalies are produced by anthropogenic activity or whether they have a natural origin.
