Abstract: |
Archaeological watching brief in the historic core of Radwell village, Beds. A medieval pit joined by a channel of uncertain function were recorded. Pottery dates the features to the 12th/13th century. Residual pottery dated to the late Saxon/early Norman period, presumably derived from nearby domestic occupation deposits. Possible remnants of medieval (c. 12th/13th century )occupation layer was also present. |
