Abstract:		 Heritage Statement prepared by CgMs on behalf of Bloor Homes in support of a planning application for residential development at Palm Cross Green, Modbury, Devon. The Heritage Statement comprises a summary assessment of the archaeological potential of the proposed development area based on previous archaeological investigation conducted within the site, comprising an archaeological desk-based assessment, geophysical survey and archaeological evaluation. The statement also includes a built heritage assessment, examining the potential impact of the site upon nearby built heritage assets, which consists of listed buildings (Grade I, II* and II), a conservation area and several unlisted buildings noted as being of local importance.
