Abstract: |
Roger and Young commissioned SUAT Ltd on behalf of Craig Alan Homes to conduct a watching brief on a site north of Dorward House, Montrose, Angus. During the site visit it became clear that the ground on which the houses were to be sited had been completely excavated away and backfilled with modern material. The spoilheap was examined and found to contain post-medieval pottery (possibly associated with Dorward House) and one piece of medieval pottery. The work was carried out on the 8th October 2007. |
