Abstract:		 During Autumn 2001, a programme of field walking and metal detecting was undertaken on land off the A1120 Creeting Road, Stowmarket, prior to the development of Phase III of the Cedars Park housing development. The field walking was undertaken in good conditions of visibility and revealed a scatter of Romano-British pottery within the western part of the site. The metal-detector survey of the site revealed few items other than modern agricultural iron fittings.
