Abstract: |
Statement of Significance: The building is of high heritage significance as a purpose-built meeting house erected in 1824-6 which retains architectural integrity and some historic fittings. The site has associations with the Sudell family, the pre-eminent Blackburn merchants of the day. The meeting house stands in the historic remnants of an eighteenth century street plan, within the original context of its burial ground. |
