Abstract: |
In September 2015, KDK Archaeology undertook a watching brief at St Mary's Church, Edlesborough, Buckinghamshire, during groundworks for the installation of a new external lighting system within the churchyard. Disarticulated human skeletal remains were found in all trenches except Trench 2. One skeletal assemblage was encountered during the watching brief, comprising the partial remains of at least two individuals. These remains are thought to represent a reburial resulting from earlier works carried out within the churchyard. |
