Abstract:		 Watching brief undertaken at Canno Mill, Northumberland during the construction of a flood protection bund by The Environment Agency. The land lay immediately to the west of a mill building on a site known to have been occupied since the medieval period. No finds or evidence of any features were recovered and it is possible that the area has been re-worked by previous flood events.
