Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation and further watching brief took place prior to and during construction of a new crematorium on land off Ashlawn Road, Hillmorton, Rugby. Two sherds of Roman pottery and an early bronze age flint arrowhead were recovered from the ploughsoil. No significant archaeological remains were noted.
