Abstract:		 In 2006 SUAT undertook a walk-over survey along the route of a pipeline for a proposed hydro-electric scheme at Inverinain, Glen Lyon (DES 2007, 159). The scant remains of several putative shieling huts were identified but only one, at NN 6539 4722, lay on or close to the route of the pipeline which was excavated in the autumn of 2009. During visits to the site on 9 and 10 March and 11 November 2009 a second shieling was noted at this location. The pipeline passed between these two structures, neither of which was damaged during the operation.
