Abstract: |
As part of a programme of environmental improvements in Burgh-by-Sands, a pond was excavated under archaeological supervision. The pond lies just to the south of the Hadrian's Wall Vallum in a boggy area partially within the Scheduled area. No archaeological remains or artefacts of any period were recovered. |
