Abstract: |
An excavation conducted by CFA Archaeology Ltd recorded the remains of an L-shaped stone-built structure and associated enclosure. The excavated features represent the remains of an L-shaped structure depicted on the 1876 Ordnance Survey map named 'Balnallan' and recorded as such by the RCAHMS. It is likely that the structure represents a small farmstead with associated byre and enclosure walls. No other archaeological remains were discovered. |
