Abstract: |
A mound was found on a flood plain in Hoccombe Combe, on Brendon Common, in November 2009. It is a U-shaped mound with a high stone content. The distinctive shape of the mound combined with its proximity to water suggests that the feature is a burnt mound. The mound was surveyed in February 2010. |
