The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Archaeological evaluation and standing building survey at a presumed 18th-century farmstead near the N shore of Loch Tay. The site comprises the remains of five buildings, one of which was a byre dwelling, and two enclosures. The building survey was undertaken on the byre dwelling whose gables stood to their full height of 4m whereas the side walls were almost completely demolished. Within the E half of the building, which had housed cattle, was a single stall trevis and the remains of a drain in the floor. A fireplace in the W gable was augmented by what appeared to be the remains of another hearth in what was probably a separate room adjacent to the byre. Several machine-dug trenches were excavated around the site to determine whether there was any evidence of Lower Kiltyrie predating the 18th century. No such evidence was found.
