The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The work carried out consisted of a desk based assessment and a field walkover survey in advance of proposed construction of 12 wind turbines at Cottam in Nottinghamshire. The area of proposed development lies within a larger archaeological landscape dating back to the Neolithic, Bronze and Iron Ages as evidenced by crop marks and stray finds. The main period of activity however is Romano-British. The site is centred on NGR SK 805140 808350.
