Abstract:
<summary>A desk-based study of the proposed routes of the Guildford By-Pass from the A3/A31 junction at Hog's Back to the A3 at Broad Oak Bridge identified three archaeological sites which seemed to be affected by the proposed routes: the Royal Park, Broadstreet Roman Villa, and a probable medieval moated site. Prehistoric remains on Whitmoor Common, although outside the proposed routes, indicated potential for prehistoric remains within the proposal areas. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea}
