Overview

The digital archive

The Romans on the Don project produced a wide array of products now available as downloads on the ADS pages, these include:

  • Bevan, B. 2006: Romans on the Don. When the Romans arrived in Doncaster. Booklet produced by inHeritage for South Yorkshire Archaeology Service
  • Project Report submitted to English Heritage Febuary 2007
  • Romans on the Don Poster for Doncaster Museum launch event on 18/11/06
  • Two Information panels
  • Romans on the Don "Watch out the Romans are coming" comic for 7-11 year olds.
  • Teachers' Pack: various resources including worksheets and exercises for Key Stage 2 (with accompanying images) and background information on archaeology, aggregates extraction and the Iron Age / Romano-British Periods.
