During 2012, Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery is piloting the deposition of born digital data, generated by new archaeological archives, with the Archaeological Data Service.

The aim is to ensure that any born digital material associated with new excavations is securely archived for the long term. It is also to enable the born digital material to be more widely accessible both to researchers and the public.
