This large quarry can be located on the 1881 O.S. Map as Bridge-end Quarry. Later it amalgamated with Sycamore Quarry to form one large quarry known as Victoria Quarry. By the 1950's the two had separated again and it is currently worked today by Macclesfield Stone Quarries Ltd. |
