General Colour Description:

Cream to buff in colour.

Hand Specimen Description:

A medium grained, moderately well sorted, oolitic limestone. It is generally soft, not shelly with occasional rare large shells. Two beds of stone can be seen in a three metre deep face. It is the hard top bed that is used (Leary 1983: 20).
