Description: | Orignally known as the parish church of St Philip, it was built in Rowington Stone, but this was found to be too soft a stone, and the whole building was refaced and the main body of the church rebuilt in Hollington Stone in the 1880's (Clifton-Taylor & Ireson 1994 : 126). | |||||
