Description: The school at Wistanstow (built in 1859) to an Italianate design by J.Randal of Shrewsbury has a combination of roughly squared, random-coursed walling masonry and door and window voussoirs cut from carefully dressed stones with drafted margins (Scard 1990: 69-70).
