Among the Loseley Manuscripts is a letter from Edmund Tilney (Master of the Revels from 1579 until 1610) to Sir William More which is important for several reasons. It indicates that Tilney was secure enough in his position as Master to withstand the displeasure of the Lord Chamberlain; it affords a glimpse of the tensions between some of the lay subsidy collectors of the 1590s in Surrey; it provides us, as far as is known to me, with the largest single extant piece of Tilney's handwriting; and, further, the availability of the letter clears up some misinformation about its contents.
