Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. Welcome to the Sutton Hoo Field Reports Site Album - a selection of photographs showing work in progress on site from 1938 to 1993.

Between 1983-1993 the Sutton Hoo Research Trust created an archive of some 25,000 prints and 12,000 colour slides. This material is in the care of the Sutton Hoo Society on behalf of its owners, the British Museum.
