In 2009, English Heritage commissioned a Conservation Plan for Wroxeter Roman City from Dr Roger White, Ironbridge Institute, University of Birmingham. This was one of two sites to act as a pilot project (EH Project Number AA090778/CP) to test the application of the then newly introduced policy guidelines, Conservation Management Policy and Practice. Working with Jenny Marriott and Malcolm Reid, the report was compiled during 2009 and the gazetteer was added in 2010. The work offers a full consideration of the evidential, historical, cultural and aesthetic significances of the site, alongside management information, characterisation of the resource and the recommendations resulting from the extensive consultation process with stakeholders at all levels. Appendices include details of stakeholder meetings, site visitor data for 2009 and bibliographic references.
