Description:  Milestone, Amersham Road; Little Chalfont, at junction with Chessfield Park, E of Railway station, A404, S side, on very wide, well cut on grass verge, between main road and Amersham Way. Cast iron post, Wilder gabled iron casting design, erected by Reading & Hatfield turnpike trust, 19th century. Inscription reads: // AMERSHAM / 3 / READING / 29 //RICKMANS / WORTH / 5 //HATFIELD / 21 //. Grade II listed by Historic England. Milestone Society National ID: BU_RGHT29. Last record: 2002.
