Description: Excavations revealed two phases of Roman occupation. The first phase consisted of boundary ditch of 2nd to 4th century date and a gully. The second phase consisted of a barn or workshop with an earth floor dating to the final quarter of the 4th century. Pottery and coins were found. A post-Medieval rubbish pit was excavated with clay tobacco pipes, glass phials and tableware.
