Description: This was a secular collegiate church, founded circa 1165, dissolved after 1546. The building contains a re-used circa 1175 capital but the interior is 13th century with Decorated and Perpendicular work added. The church was over-restored in 1865-7. There is indirect evidence suggesting that Heytesbury was the site of a minster in the late Saxon period.
