CHURCH OF ST EDMUND


Description:  Church of 13th century origin, the north porch was added in the 14th century and the south porch in the 15th-early 16th century. The chancel was refaced externally in the 18rh century and the church was restored in 1869. The church consists of a south chapel, nave with arcades of 5 bays and clerestory with 3 windows either side, aisles, porches and a west tower of 2 stages with diagonal buttresses, battlemented parapet, corner pinnacles and a wrought iron weather vane.
