Description: Weaving shed (1860-65) of one-storey with later brick walls to the north-west and in part to the north-east; other walls are of stone. It has five-bays of north-light roofs and one equal-pitch roof which are supported internally by five rows each of eleven cast-iron columns with square-sectioned bolting heads. The roof trusses are of timber, with king-posts and struts. In the absence of an engine house, the shed must have been powered from the engine house of the original mill.
