Description: Former farmhouse built in the late 15th-early 16th century, thoroughly refurbished and enlarged in the early 17th century and altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. Built of plastered cob on stone rubble footings with a thatched roof. The building is L-shaped in plan, with the main block facing east-north-east. This block has a three room cross passage plan with the inner room at the southern end. To the rear of the inner room is a parlour block projecting at right angles. Originallly the main block contined beyon the service end kitchen as a barn, but this part has been demolished. The main block is of two storeys and there is an outshot to the rear of the service end kitchen.
