Description: A section of the former Severn and Wye Railway route is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. The route extends south-east for 790m from Coleford Station and goods yard (SO 51 SE 63). The cutting made to join the Severn and Wye to what remained of the Coleford Railway (LINEAR 1740) is clearly visible and is situated south west of the station. Spoil heaps which are probably associated with the cutting's construction are situated immediately to the west. The route is now used as a cycle path.
