Remains of Iron Age Dinghurst Camp, Dolebury Warren
Description:
Dinghurst Camp; a 'satellite' of Dolebury now almost totally obliterated by quarrying but one stretch of north- south bank remains on its eastern side. Originally of about 4 acres and roughly circular ( Hollinrake C & N, 1985). Described by Skinner in his journal as having an "entrance to West defended by three trenches".
