N face of Clayton Wall from the junction with the field wall at to the junction with the field wall at. Length 147.5m, condition - bad. Clayton Wall Survey numbers F4, F5, F6, F6, F8, F9.
1 (F4): 30m, possible Roman foundation, bulge at 6.3m-7m, 20m, 24.6m- 28.8m, total collapse 10m-12.2m.
2 (F5): 30m, possible Roman foundation, bulge at 12.4m, 27.4m, threatening collapse.
3 (F6): 30m, 2-3 Roman courses, bulge at 2.4m, 8.5m, 13.8m, 15.2m, 19m, 23.2m, 27.6m, 29.9m.
4 (F7): 6.9m to bend, 2 Roman courses, bulge 0-3m.
5 (F8): 30m, up to 2 Roman courses in places, bulge at 2m, 12.5m, 25.5m
6 (F9): 10.6m to junction with drystone wall, up to 2 Roman courses in places, more stable on level ground.
