NORTHGATE RING ROAD


Description:  Roman pottery finds from truncated pits opposite Franklin Place and in St Paul's Churchyard, and some pits have been excavated. The earliest features appear to be associated with the period preceding the muration of Roman Chichester, while the cemetery is of C3rd-C4th date.
