Description:
History: Little known. Early C13 documentary reference and in 1267 specifically referred to as a Leper Hospital, and bequest to the hospital mentioned in 1330. By 1547 the hospital had become an almshouse and belonged to SA 1771, St John's Hospital, at this time. Thought to have stood on the site of the E part of Ludford House, (SA 10936).
