Finds at Maes y Garreg Lllwyd

Description:  A Republican Roman silver coin, probably of 45BC, and a prismatic flint flake were found within a few yards of each other, in 1853, by a workman digging gravel in a pit at Maes y Garreg Llwyd, near Oswestry. Close to them were found pieces of bone, which seemed to have been burnt, charcoal and other matter <1a><1b>
