Description: Medieval church, of 14th to early 15th century date, with some 13th century remains in the south arcade, much altered in the Victorian period, principally in 1857. West tower, 3-bay nave with aisles, south porch and north chapel, 3-bay chancel with organ chamber and vestry to north. A 10th century sandstone cross-shaft fragment is in the nave. This may have been the fragment found during 19th century restoration work built in as lintels to the windows in the old south aisle.
