Introduction

Land off Station Road, Tamerton Foliot, Devon (OASIS ID: cotswold2-152781)

An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology (CA) during groundworks associated with the development of a solar farm on land off Station Road, Tamerton Foliat, Devon.

A total of eight undated ditches and an undated pit was identified during the watching brief. Most of the ditches appear to relate to a post-medieval field system identified during earlier archaeological evaluation and geophysical survey of the site.
