The frontage range of Guest and Chrimes Brass works on the banks of the river Don built 1857 and a listed building. To the rear are three ranges projecting back at 90 degrees to the front. The rest of the complex to the west is of later 20th century date. N.B.. Edward Chrimes invented the modern screw down tap in 1845 before the firm moved to this site Guest and Chrimes operated from these premises until 1999. Buildings currently awaiting redevelopment
