Indoor multi purpose event venue and outdoor concert / festival space. Built as part of Sheffield preparations for the World Student Games. This part of the site was built over cleared housing built around the 1890s. Prior to the 1980s this area contained a dense network of streets made up of grid iron terraces around Carbrook Park and a school. The area was cleared following the collapse of the steel industry in the late 20th century. The only surviving component is a former Board School on Attercliffe Common (road). Contains the site of Attercliffe Old Pottery. Formerly surveyed enclosure of Attercliffe Common
