Higher Education college established in 1976 which changed its name to Dearne Valley College in 1996. Most of the plot appears to have remained as fields until recently although the site was adjacent to the Manvers Main Colliery. The Dearne and Dove Canal and railway tracks bounded the northern part of the site. It later housed offices of The National Coal Board. The fields were probably enclosed by the Wath Upon Dearne parliamentary enclosure award of 1814. Legibility of the former landscape is invisible.
