First available depiction 1948 (no OS data available to the project for Conisbrough between 1907 and 1948) but stylistically unlikely to be later than c.1930. Typical 'grid iron' terraced housing area. Houses have offshots and back passageways. Streets are named in honour of characters from Sir Walter Scotts novel written in the village 'Ivanhoe'. No legibility of earlier piecemeal enclosure of open field.
