St. Theresa's RC primary school is first depicted on the 1935 OS map. The school occupies the north east corner of a field depicted on the 1923 OS map. Earlier maps, including the Fairbanks plan of 1795 and the Sanderson map of 1835, show the area as fields with the characteristics of piecemeal enclosure. A few small sandstone quarries are shown within the area on the 1st edition OS map. Prior to fields, the area was on the eastern and southern edge of Sheffield Park, which was a medieval deer park. Legibility is invisible.
