Currently occupied by the privately developed cul-de-sacs Ledbetter Road and Ledbetter Drive which are made up of detached and semidetached properties, This polygon follows the preserved boundaries of the earlier settlement of Gleadless Commonside (the only buildings of which surviving are the farm and cottages polygonised as HSY 1465.) Gleadless Commonside is depicted prior to the Enclosure Award for Handsworth in 1808 and probably represents settlement associated with post-medieval encroachment on the common to the west. Fragmentary legibility of past landscape.
