Sheffield municipal golf course, founded in 1920. Overlies the area of Tinsley Park. The course contains woodland designated as ancient and as semi natural. The southern boundary of the woods follows the parish boundary and probably marks the extent of the medieval deer park. Hey (Hey, Olive & Liddament 1997,19) refers to part of the medieval park boundary ditch still being extant. If this has survived the historical legibility would be significant.
