Site of water powered corn mill dating to at latest the 17th century (Magilton 1977, 13). At the time of Magilton's survey of Doncaster the building was "recently gutted by fire" (ibid). Depicted by the 1982 OS, by 1997 this listed building (national ref 334923) had been demolished by 1997 and overbuilt by an extension to the industrial estate to the north. Fragmentary legibility of the mill site may exist in a 'outfall' depicted by 1992 OS Landline mapping, which may relate to a relict tail race.
