This area which is shown as fully developed by 1925 and underway by 1905 is characterised with larger grid iron terraces. The land used was formerly irregular piecemeal enclosures with isolated dispersed farmsteads. This polygon which is very similar in character to HSY 950 and 951. The key influences to the urbanisation of this area were the proximity of the municipal Firth Park and the extension of the tramways in the early decades of the twentieth century. The early 20th century areas of Firth Park / Page Hall are an area of particularly distinct historic character retaining many features of their period of origin.
