Regular surveyed enclosure of former commons. The land in this polygon fell within the historic townships of Woolley and Notton which now lie outside of South Yorkshire. This land doesn’t seem to fall within any parliamentary enclosure award, there is no evidence of one at Notton. It is still marked as part of a large area of commons on Jefferys' 1775 map but is enclosed by 1855. There is no legibility of the former moorland.
