Built on the site of 19th century farm buildings (described by Magilton 1977), these large detached properties were constructed between 1983 and 1997. To the south of Mosham Road is an arrangement of narrow tenement plots bounded by a 'Back Lane' in the typical medieval village pattern and it is suggested by Magilton (1977) and the plan form visible on earlier maps that the area of this polygon may represent a 'shrunken area' of a larger medieval village. No legibility of earlier patterns.
