Within the medieval core of Sheffield, as derived from Goslings plan of 1736 and descriptions contained in the Records of the Burgery. This element dates mostly to the later 20th century, consisting chiefly of rebuilding following post war clearance programmes which removed significant elements of medieval plan form visible on 19th and early 20th century mapping. Fragmentary legibility from the exterior morphology and the 19th century town hall which stands in this area.
