Probably first landscaped in the later 18th century following its purchase by Thomas Boulsover in 1757 the Whitely Wood Estate lay around the mansion Whitely Wood Hall (demolished 1959). A late 18th century stable block is now home to a Girl Guide activity centre. Includes a number of farms and evidence for former ridge and furrow cultivation (FOPV 2004). Partial legibility of earlier cultivated landscape.
