Industrial park of large sheds, still partially underdevelopment. From 1930 maps onwards part of this area was taken up by a large clay pit, there were also associated railway sidings running to the works. The clay pit had been dug within the field boundaries of the former strip fields that covered this area. These strips had been enclosed from the Wombwell townfields. This pattern of strips has not survived the modern construction so there is no legibility of past land uses.
