Agricultural land consisting of agglomerated fields. The field boundaries were removed in the 1930s. It had previously formed part of the Wath/ Swinton Racecourse. The racecourse was in use from the mid 18th until mid 19th centuries. The 2nd Marquis of Rockingham kept racehorses at the adjacent Swinton Stables and used the course for training purposes. Legibility is partial as the race track is still traceable as a track.
