Kiveton Park Colliery site. Now largely cleared apart from the listed and architecturally significant ' 1938 pit-head baths and 1875 gothic Colliery Offices. Spoil tips remain but other pit head buildings and winding gear cleared following closure in 1994. No legibility of earlier enclosed landscape. Colliery first sunk in 1866 - much of this area was not covered by spoil until after modernisation of the pit in the 1960s and 1970s.
