A stylised human face

While out looking for cups and rings Stan Beckensall and Aron Mazel came across this stylised human face close to Rothbury. Following an appeal for information about this face, they were informed by a member of the public that he first saw it in the late 1950s, but they have not been able to establish more information about when it was made and who made it! When the NADRAP volunteers reviewed photogrammetry scans of a second panel nearby, it too appeared to be a face! See West Hills 1d.
